About the Crux Project
The Crux Project is a set of seven stories. Each story can be told independently of the others. However, the stories come together to tell one bigger story.
At times, the stories will converge and diverge. The main characters in one of the stories can be quite key for the story as a whole or be less important, but still quite essential.
The listing of stories is as follows:
Albidus (Story of Adara)
Rubidus (Story of Kyrna)
Viridis (Story of Khine)
Sutette Tsubasa (Story of Rumi)
Futago (Story of Akiko & Kirara)
Munashii Yume (Story of Tsuneo & Meiko)
Crux Core (Story involving various characters)
As you can tell, the Crux Project is an enormous undertaking. However, I hope it will be an enjoyable journey for the reader. The beauty of the format is that a reader can choose to start on one story while another reader starts on another story. Each reader will have a unique experience through the stories.
The Crux Project aims to use the anime/manga feel in the characters and their design.
The project as a whole explores difficult subject matters and themes which may be controversial to some.
Here is some of the Subject matter explored:
Religion (Western & Eastern) (All of it)
Abandonment/Depression
Imperfection
Skewed Morality
Love
Cultural Division
Common Misconceptions
Government
War
Loss
The bullying majority/ignorant minority
Despite all this, the project hopes to stay within a "Teen" or "PG-13" type rating. For example, gore & sexuality are completely avoided.
